The domain olaol.com has been blocked for mailouts which we deem is in violation of our mass mail sending policy. This policy applies to any entity sending mass mails to Outblaze hosted domains.
Our mass mailing policy is intended to:
- Control high speed mailing rates that stress our systems
- Eliminate service degradations to our clients and users
- Mitigate the problem of thousands of undelivered bounces remaining in our mail queues and impacting mail delivery to our users
- Mitigate undeliverable emails with invalid return address information
- Eliminate mass mailings during peak business hours
Definition of Mass Mailing
Confirmed Optin mailings to a large number of end users by any entity, or third party with whom that entity has contracted to send out emails. Confirmed Optin is, for the purposes of this document, defined as voluntary signup by the end-user for such mailings. This term further implies that such messages are not spam.
Definition of Spam
Spam, in the context of this policy, is defined as Unsolicited Commercial and/or Bulk Email, that includes promotions or solicitations, commercial or otherwise, regardless of content.
Without exception, Outblaze Limited does not allow its facilities to be used for the purpose of sending or receiving spam mails, and is committed to do all that is feasible to prevent spam from reaching, or being sent out from, our service.
Mass Mailing Requirements
- Mail Sending Rate: mass mailings will be done at a rate that, in our opinion, does not saturate our servers or bandwidth, and does not impact regular mail delivery.
- Use of appropriate servers for originating mailings: use of Outblaze hosted machines for originating mass mailings is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Outblaze.
- Delivery of mass mailings (i.e. mass mailing sent to domains hosted by Outblaze): All mass mailings must be delivered through the designated inbound MX (Mail Exchanger) machines for Outblaze hosted domains, as specified in DNS (Domain Name Server) records. Connecting directly to any other Outblaze hosted machine in an attempt to deliver mail to our domains is a violation of this policy. Attempting to deliver mail to our backup or secondary MX servers after receiving a 500 series (permanent failure) SMTP rejection code from our primary MX is also a violation of this policy.
- Prompt processing of unsubscribe requests from outblaze users
- Mass mailing entities must maintain, read and respond to the RFC mandated postmaster and abuse aliases at their domain. Correspondence from Outblaze, if any, will be sent as a matter of course to these addresses. Absence of a satisfactory reply, or a bounce showing that said mailboxes do not exist, may, at our discretion, lead to our blocking of mail from your IPs and/or domains.
A mass mailer should be prepared to furnish to us, on demand, full subscription confirmation details of any of our users. This includes, but is not limited to, information like signup date and time, confirmation date and time. Explanations such as "this signup was a co-registration with another site" or "we purchased a list" may not be acceptable to our postmaster and abuse team.
Your domain or IPs have been blocked because of a failure to comply with these guidelines. Our systems administrators and/or our postmaster staff may exercise their discretion to block, or in extreme cases, firewall your IPs and domains from sending mail to our services in cases where our guidelines are seen to be violated.
Please contact postmaster@outblaze.com if you have any questions or clarifications, and in order to be unblocked from our network.
